Smartrade has 20 years of experience in trading natural stones. It was founded by Mr. Shintaro Matsubara, engineer of University of Kyoto and Mr. Marcelo Matsubara, BA from Fundação Getulio Vargas, and MBA at Business School São Paulo.Quality Control

Smartrade is a trading company specialized in natural stones for revestment.
Matsubara Shintaro
Mr. Shintaro Matsubara was born in Japan in Kobe. Graduated from Kyoto Institute of Technology in Chemical Engineering and has lived in Osaka and Kyoto. Moved to Brazil and worked as a Technical Director for a multinational company for 27 years. Co-founded Smartrade with his son Marcelo Matsubara in 1997. Also represents several japanese companies in Brazil.
Matsubara Marcelo
Marcelo Matsubara holds a BA degree by EAESP Fundação Getulio Vargas and a MBA from Business School Sao Paulo. Co-founded Smartrade. Fluent in English, Spanish, Japanese and Portuguese, holds extensive experience in trading in over 20 countries.

Brazilian Quartzite Sample
The Sao Tome quartzite can be found in white, yellow, green and pink colors in São Tomé das Letras city, located in the south of Minas Gerais. Because of its natural beauty, their natural gloom and its great resistance for temperature changes, it is used in revetment of internal and external ambients.
Porphyry Sample
Porphyry has excellent technical characteristics not subject to alteration, a high degree of compactness with excellent resistance to mechanical stresses and shocks, low freezing and high slip resistance. It can be used for all applications, both external and interior, from paving to coverings.
Morisca Sample
Morisca can be used in all types of interior and exterior applications including flooring, wall cladding, countertops, and stair treads. The abundance of quartz in the stone enhances the color in this predominantly gold material. Morisca’s natural cleft is soft to the touch and has great traction.
Copacabana Stone Sample
Known for its possibilities as medium to create mosaics and patterns such as the famous sidewalks of Copacabana. Four colors to be applied as flooring or wall coating.
